How to disable Wifi Assist in iOS 9
iOS brings some amazing new features to iPhones both new and old. One feature which can be pretty handy is the new 'Wifi Assist' one which will use your iPhone's mobile data when the WiFi network is being slow or not responding.
A small catch with this is that it uses your mobile data allowance, which if you're on a small limit can end up costing you more money.
DISABLE WIFI ASSIST iOS 9
- Tap 'Settings' icon from the homescreen
- Tap on 'Mobile Data' in the first section
- Scroll all the way to the bottom
- Slide 'Wi-Fi Assist' button to the off position
- That's it!
A handy feature but only really practical if you're on an 'all you can eat' data plan.
